The Medical Runaround

Struggling with Women Health Issues

Your labs came back "normal" but you still feel terrible. You got a prescription that masks symptoms, not answers. When you asked why, you heard "that's just PCOS" or "try losing weight."

The DIY Exhaustion

Expert Health Advice from a Naturopathic Doctor

You've cut gluten, dairy, and sugar. Tried every supplement on Instagram. Googled until you're more confused than when you started. Still no lasting results.

The Frustration Cycle

Connecting the Dots with Naturopathic Care

Your skin clears, then breaks out again. Cycles regulate, then disappear. Just when you think you've figured it out, your body throws you another curveball.

Here's what's missing: no one's connecting the dots. Your hormones, skin, and digestion aren't separate issues—they're all talking to each other.

When you treat them together, everything starts to shift.

Mind, Body, Gut - How they are connected when it concerns women's health

How the Mind, Skin, and Gut Actually Connect

Your hormones, digestion, and skin aren't working in isolation; they're in constant conversation. When one's struggling, the others feel it too.

The Mind (Stress + Hormones)

Chronic stress raises cortisol, which disrupts estrogen and progesterone. This triggers irregular cycles, stubborn weight gain, and worsening PCOS symptoms.

The Skin (What Shows Up on the Surface)

Hormonal acne, rosacea, and eczema often signal gut inflammation or hormone imbalances—not just "bad skin."

The Gut (Where Digestion Meets Immunity)

70% of your immune system lives in your gut. When your microbiome is off, it can't break down hormones properly, leading to estrogen dominance, bloating, and inflammation.

The bottom line: When you address just one piece, the others keep pulling you back. But when you treat all three together, your body finally has what it needs to heal.

About Us

Meet Dr. Simone, ND

I help women understand why their PCOS, acne, or fertility struggles keep coming back—and what to actually do about it.

Most of my patients come to me exhausted from trying everything their doctors suggested without lasting results. That's because conventional medicine treats your hormones, skin, and digestion as separate problems. But they're not separate—they're deeply connected.

My approach uses evidence-based naturopathic medicine to address your mind, skin, and gut as the integrated system they are. We identify your specific root causes, then create a personalized protocol that actually works.

Your Questions, Answered

How is naturopathic care different from what my family doctor provides?

Naturopathic doctors focus on identifying and treating the root causes of health issues, not just managing symptoms. We use evidence-based natural therapies, nutrition, lifestyle changes, and functional testing to address the underlying imbalances affecting your hormones, digestion, and overall health.

Is virtual care as effective as in-person?

For most concerns Dr. Simone sees — hormonal health, PCOS, fertility, acne, digestion — virtual care is fully effective. Assessment, lab review, and treatment planning do not require physical presence. Some physical examinations and in-person treatments are not possible virtually, but for the conditions she focuses on, virtual appointments provide the same quality of care.

What does an initial consultation cost?
